Fall/Winter 16/17

The strong aesthetic sensibility of indigenous populations, deeply rooted in Mexican cultural traditions, represents the common thread for the intense and immediately recognizable Fall/Winter 16. Andrès Caballero indissolubly links the beauty of the past to the surprise of the contemporary, thus bestowing eternal bold and authentic femininity. The craftsmanship of the Mujer Mazahua is reflected in the meticulous attention towards finishing, while their strong personality finds its expression in the vibrant rhythm of Swarovski decorated animated prints. A ritual that consecrates the ethic of Mexican fervor to a genuinely Italian aesthetic that recognizes the relevance of the time passed elevating it to a nostalgic future.

Spring/Summer 16

Andrès Caballero ignites his proud and dancing Mexico in a sequence of vibrant, bold and precious tones. The Mexico narrated by the Creative Director is the one featuring sunny squares; printed tablecloths swinging in the noontide; the brightness of the landscapes characterizing his country. It’s the people’s Mexico. Without ever leaving the great tailoring tradition that accompanies the brand behind, the runway transforms into a procession that involves confident, slightly romantic women. Cumbia plays, the continuous beat of South American traditional music animates the precious details of the dresses, letting them flow through fluid geometries, typical iconographies bright colors.

Fall/Winter 15/16

The irony of modern culture is translated in a closely personal vision of elegance with a “Pop” interpretation for the showcase of femmes fatale of San Andrès Milano. Desire for attention and irreverence are the focus of this seasons’ attitude, conceived as the purest expression of the joie de vivre;  according to which all is allowed but every thing passes in an instant. Beating hearts dancing to the colors so loved by the designer, translating his Mexican roots into combinations of inlays on a 1970’s silhouette, where there the vibrant atmosphere of New York Studio 54 transforms into the perfect setting for a collection that focuses on patchwork fur moving in seductive fuchsia, bright blue, yellow, pink and vivacious shades of gold resulting in an assertive feminine collection.

Spring/Summer 2015

An early summer sunset, sipping on Italian-style aperitivo on Via Vittorio Veneto. The crowd walks, talks, poses. Evening falls, yellow beams of streetlights shining on the old stones of the eternal city. Pop music in the air; the elite of aspiring actresses, actors, and starlets riding their foreign cars. Worldliness; light heartedness of pleasure: the dolce vita. The freshness of San Andrès Milano Spring/Summer 15 collection originates here, in these streets that due to their style nuances can be associated to those of Mexico, his country of origin. In a slow pace, accompanied by the compelling and elegant rhythms of the good life, the silhouettes of Andrès Caballero swing while revealing the enchanting fluidity of fabrics and shapes combined with the shades of Roman summer day.
